the most beautiful countryside with forests and moors
close by.

Pleasant
motoring brings you within easy reach of the North
York Moors National Park, the much loved "Herriot"
dales and "Heartbeat" country, the forested
slopes of Forge Valley and Dalby Forest where you can
enjoy a picnic in one of the many picnic areas. For
the steam train enthusiast there is a steam locomotive
which runs from Pickering to Grosmont through some
very picturesque scenery.
